Jane Brulotte Whitten
December 28, 1934 – December 5, 2025
Jane Blanche Brulotte was born in Laconia, NH to Blanche and Edmund Brulotte. She was one of five siblings. She graduated from Laconia High School. She married her high school sweetheart, Linwood, in 1954. While he served in the US Air Force, they were based in Mississippi and in New York.
Over the years, Jane worked as a movie theater usher, a telephone switchboard operator, a school cafeteria cook and as a Coast Guard Auxiliary store cashier. She was a homemaker and raised three children. With her husband and family, she lived in Laconia and Holderness, NH, Sanford, ME and Greenacres, Jupiter and Hobe Sound, FL.
Her hobbies included baking, quilting, playing the organ, playing games and puzzles, and spending time with her family.
Jane was predeceased by her parents and her brothers Richard Brulotte and Norman Brulotte. She is survived by her husband of 71 years, Linwood; children Barbara LeHoullier (Richard), Michael Whitten (Lori), Stephen Whitten (Suzie); grandchildren Kryss LeHoullier, Jen Prior (Corey), Stacy Whitten, Andrew Whitten and Patrick Whitten (Emma); great-grandson Rowan; brother Raymond Brulotte; sister Lorraine Randlett (Kenneth) and many nieces and nephews.
Details of services in Florida and burial in Maine to be determined. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her honor to Caring Fields Felines in Palm City, FL or to Treasure Coast Hospice.
