Jane Lee Wipperfurth, 80, of Spring Lake, passed away Wednesday, September 24, 2025.

Jane was born October 8, 1944, the daughter of Harry and Cleo Smith. She was blessed with two children in her life. Jane worked and retired from Magna Donnely Corp. She married Matt Wipperfurth in the early 2000's and they enjoyed over 20 years of marriage together. Jane enjoyed gardening, crafting, pottery, painting, attending craft fairs, and restoring old cars with her husband. Jane also was quite the "Annie Oakley" of shooting guns as well. She was a strong-willed, meticulous, hard-working, kind-hearted woman who will be deeply missed.

SURVIVORS

Husband, Matt; children, John (Jodie) and Troy (Jill) Hanks; grandson, Kody (Rebecca) Hanks; sisters, Barbara Clack, Susan Miller, and Norma (Charles) Henson; aunt, Claudette Bethke; uncle, Chuck (Evy) Daugherty; and several cousins.

She was preceded in death by: her parents; brothers-in-law, Jerry Clack and Ed Miller; and uncle Ron Bethke.

SERVICES

Cremation will take place and a private family gathering will be held at a later date.
