Janet C. Albert died peacefully on July 16, 2024, at her home in Tuckasegee, NC, after a terminal illness. She was surrounded by her loving husband and other loved ones who loved her dearly.
She was proceeded in death by her parents, Ike and Dorothy Cavins, her sisters, Judy Colman and Patty Sheldon. Janet is survived by numerous nieces and nephews, members of the Albert Family and extended family in the Tuckasegee community.
Jan loved life and enjoyed many outings and celebrations with family and friends. Whenever there was a car going somewhere, she was the first one in it! She also loved to play golf and, particularly, enjoyed playing with her good friends.
Jan loved her husband, John, of forty-five years, her family, her friends, and her God. She was a woman of faith and saw God in the beautiful surroundings in which she lived. She is now rejoicing eternally with God and her loved ones.
A celebration of Janet’s life will be held in the chapel of Appalachian Funeral Services at 2:30pm on Saturday, July 27, 2024.
