Obituary of Janet Ellen Bickford
Janet E. Bickford (72) passed away peacefully following a long illness, on May 6, 2022 at Methodist Hospital while surrounded by her family. She was born to Lyle and Lulu (Grim) Bickford August 1, 1949. Originally from Wisconsin, she moved with her family to Minnesota during her teenaged years.
Janet is survived by her children, Lisa Wells, Jennifer Yee and husband Greg, Ryan Kocourek and wife Deb; grandchildren Zachary Bertsch, Abigail Emmert and Chasen Kocourek; Brother, David Bickford; Sisters, Patricia Wachs, Virginia Walsh and Suzi Johnson; Nieces Debi Webster and husband Pat Barczewski, Deneen Janke and husband Tim, Deanna Webster Frings and husband Jeff; Nephews, Scott Melichar and wife Tina, Chris Bickford and wife Kari, Hunter Hilten and wife Vanessa, Callum Hilten and wife Tracy; and many friends.
Janet is proceeded in death by her parents Lyle and Lulu; a sister, Merle Hess; a nephew, Harold Webster and a niece; Amy Lundquist.
A celebration of life will be held on June 12th, from 1:00 PM until 4:00 PM at The Cremation Society of Minnesota, Edina location which is located at 7110 France Avenue South, Edina, MN. 55345. This will be an open house style celebration of life.
We are thankful for the wonderful care she received while at Methodist.
Mathew 11:28-30 "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light."
