Janet Cleghern Obituary
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, November 5th, 2022 at Erin United Methodist Church with Rev. Jamie Mandrell officiating.
The Cleghern family will receive friends on Friday from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the church, and again from 8:00 a.m. until the hour of the service Saturday morning.
Janet entered this life on April 5th, 1961 in Clarksville, TN, daughter to Robert and Bettye McGinnis. Janet was preceded in death by her father.
Survivors include her loving husband of 39 years, Tim Cleghern; daughters, Megan Mitchell (Travis) and Kristin Hill (Greg); grandchildren, Whit, Caroline, Ryan, and Brooks; her mother, Bettye McGinnis; brother, Barry McGinnis (Karen); as well as several nieces, nephews, and many dear friends.
Janet will be remembered as the queen of all celebrations, the most thoughtful gift giver, a faithful follower of Jesus, a loyal friend, and the world's very best daughter, wife, mom, and Nan.

It seems like I have known your family forever but our places on the Sunday pew will always be special! I use to tell Janet when she bounced from one child to the other, that I so could see myself sitting in the seat doing the same thing with my two and wondering why I made the effort and struggle but knew that where I needed to be and so did she!
My daughter was a babysitter to the girls and then some of the grands which sorta made us feel like family. Losing a mother and wife are one of the worst loses to bear, especially quick ones like Janet's! As I have seen all your family vacations and pictures, know that these will be treasures you will have forever! And sweet picture of family and togetherness! My heart is breaking for you all as you have to go thru this time! Know that we love you all and you will be in out prayers and hearts not only as you go thru this fay but in the days ahead when the thoughts come with the tears! Love to you all! Carolyn and family
