Janet Compton Becker Bradley, 84, passed away on July 6, 2025.
A native of Virginia she was the daughter of Thelma Jones Compton and Walter Dudley Compton, both deceased. She was also preceded in death by her first husband of twenty-two years, William Von Becker; her second husband of twenty-five years, Frank Breckenridge Bradley; siblings, Carol Compton Perkins and Richard Maurice Compton; and niece, Kathleen Compton Mook.
Janet was a member of Shiloh United Methodist Church in Eagle Rock, Virginia. She was a licensed practical nurse at North Florida Regional Hospital and worked as a certified nursing assistant at Lewis Gale Medical Center and VA Medical Center both in Salem, Virginia. Janet always gave a caring hand to every patient she served and was a friend to all she met. She loved to read and spend time with her family and friends.
Those left to cherish her memory are her son, William Walter Becker; daughter-in-law, Jennifer Becker; granddaughter, Morgan Becker; nieces, Suzy Perkins, Jackie Perkins, and Jennifer Perkins; nephew, Richard Compton; and numerous close cousins.
A graveside service will be held in Sherwood Memorial Park on Wednesday, July 16, 2025 at 11:00 am.
