Mrs. Janet Lee Daniel, age 66
Of New Johnsonville, TN, passed away Monday, June 9, 2025, at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, TN. She was born June 22, 1958, to Willard and Elys Lee.
Janet was a cherished member of Pisgah Church in New Johnsonville, where she found much joy among her fellow congregants. Her commitment to her faith was evident through her active participation in church activities, particularly as a devoted member of Women of Faith. Janet eagerly engaged in their Bible studies, forging deep friendships and creating a nurturing bond with those around her through shared faith, love, and laughter.
As a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, Janet found her greatest joy in the warmth of family gatherings and the laughter shared with loved ones. She brought a unique spark to everyday life, pouring her heart into everything she did, from whipping up delicious meals that filled her home with love, to indulging in her passion for shopping.
Janet's love for her family knew no bounds; she was a constant presence at every sports game, a vibrant cheerleader whose encouragement resonated far beyond the sidelines. Her unwavering support created priceless memories for her grandchildren, reminding them always of their Nana’s belief in their potential.
In every aspect of her life, Janet exemplified kindness, enthusiasm, and strength. Her legacy will forever live on in the lives she enriched, the laughter she sparked, and the love she gave so freely. Janet will be deeply missed but lovingly remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
Visitation will be held from 4:00 – 8:00pm Wednesday, June 11th and from 10:00am until service time Thursday, June 12th at Humphreys County Funeral Home.
Funeral Services for Mrs. Daniel will be conducted at 2:30pm Thursday, June 12, 2025, in the Humphreys County Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Paul Edwards & Bro. Adam Mullinax officiating.
Interment will follow in J. Warren Cemetery in New Johnsonville.
