Janet Ethelyn (Kizer) Eichelberger, age 82, of Jamestown, passed away April 24, 2025, at Jamestown Place Nursing and Rehabilitation. She was born October 27, 1942, in Urbana, Ohio, the daughter of the late Graydon and Rosetta (Butts) Kizer. Janet was a graduate of Graham High School; and she had worked several jobs over the years. Janet loved God, family, life, flowers, and birds. Janet is survived by two children, Brenda (Tod) Edwards, and Keith Eichelberger; grandchildren, Beth (Paul) Welding, Heather (Charlie) Payton, Kevin Amanda) Elam, Alex Eichelberger, Amber (Chris) Fisher, and Cody (Brandon) Mowen; great grandchildren, Colton, Hayden, Brennen, Alec, Copper, Myles, and Mai; her baby brother Dick (Judy) Kizer; two sisters-in-law, Connie Kizer and Bernice Kizer; and many other extended family members that she loved. In addition to her parents, Janet is preceded in death by son Steve Eichelberger; ex-husband Robert Eichelberger; brothers, Gene, Ken, Bob, Lee, and Dan; and sister Karen. A special "Thank You" goes out to Ohio Valley Hospice, and everyone at Jamestown Place Health and Rehabilitation, Janet loved all the girls that took great care of her over the years. Burial will take place 11:00 a.m., June 3, 2025, at Concord Cemetery in Urbana, Ohio. The Powers-Kell Funeral Home, Jamestown, is assisting the family.
