Janet A. Flores, a radiant spirit born on September 21, 1955, in Denver, passed away peacefully on February 16, 2025, surrounded by love in the very city that cradled her early years. Janet was the epitome of warmth and generosity; her outgoing nature and big heart drew people to her like a moth to a flame. She had a remarkable ability to infuse laughter into her surroundings, with her good sense of humor allowing her to both deliver and embrace a joke with ease.
One of Janet's cherished memories was the joy of making homemade tortillas, a skill that brought her family together and filled their home with delightful aromas. The kitchen was her domain, a sacred space where she could express her love through her culinary creations. Beyond the kitchen, she was an avid fan of her beloved Broncos, cheering them on with an enthusiasm that was infectious. Shopping was another passion; she found great pleasure in seeking out the perfect gift for her loved ones, always thinking of others before herself.
Janet’s proudest accomplishments quite simply revolved around her family. She dedicated her life to raising her sons, Adrian and Gabriel, nurturing them with love and guidance. Her heart swelled with pride as she embraced the role of a second mother to her grandson, raising him as her own. This nurturing spirit extended beyond her children; Janet's compassion and open arms touched the lives of all who knew her.
Though Janet faced tremendous losses throughout her life, including the passing of her beloved husband, Anthony Flores, and her dear daughter, Regina Garcia, her resilience never faltered. She carried their memories in her heart, allowing their love to illuminate her path forward, even on the toughest days.
Janet leaves behind her two devoted sons, Adrian and Gabriel, as well as her four cherished grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Their lives will forever be enriched by the love and joy she injected into every moment they shared.
Her legacy as a loving mother, a devoted grandmother, and a treasure of a friend will remain deeply ingrained in the hearts of those she touched. Janet A. Flores, your laughter, kindness, and nurturing spirit will be profoundly missed, yet the impact you made on your family will echo timelessly through the generations. Rest in peace, sweet Janet; your big heart and open arms will always be remembered.
