Janet Gadd Obituary
Born May 13, 1933, to the late James and Pauline Muholland, Janet was a graduate of Lincoln High School. Her family credited her long and happy life to her love of family, friends, being an avid artist who loved creating paintings, community volunteering, and the taste of an ice-cold Coca-Cola.
Family and friends will remember her signature cackle and the ringing of cowbells at baseball and football fields as she cheered for her children and grandchildren throughout the years. As a matriarch, she led her family with grace, class, and unconditional love, always showing up for her family in good times and bad.
Janet was preceded in death by her soul mate and husband, Harold R. Gadd; a son, Randal E. Gadd; a sister, Judith Morosko; a nephew and a great-grandchild.
Survivors include her children, Melanie Pugh, Rick Gadd, Rodney Gadd and Scott (Lori) Gadd; a sister, Jean Emerick; 11 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
At her request, there will be no services. The family will gather for a private celebration of life at a later date.
