Janet Marge Gerdes (nee Grzeskowiak), of Saint Charles, MO, passed away Sunday, August 31, 2025, at the age of 84. Beloved wife of the late Charles "Chuck" L. Gerdes; cherished daughter of the late Anna and Leo Grzeskowiak; devoted mother of Dennis (Jacqueline King) Gerdes and Leo (Judith) Gerdes; loving grandmother of Matt (Jennifer) Gerdes and Ashley King; treasured great grandmother of Luke Gerdes, Logan Gerdes, Levi Gerdes, Alex King, Alayna Hiatt, and Abran Wagner; loving aunt of Nicole Puckett, Allison Grzeskowiak, Karen (Craig) Forrester, Donna Grzeskowiak, and great aunt of Danielle Kisner; dear sister of the late Frank (Marian survives) Grzeskowiak and the late Donald (Patricia survives) Grzeskowiak.
Janet was a proud member of the Rose Society, where she often judged rose shows and shared her talent by teaching others the art of floral arranging. Her love of flowers inspired her to start her own floral business. She also had a passion for reading, learning, and photography. For 48 years, Janet proudly owned and managed Donut King in St. Charles. She was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
