Janet Grable, 67, of Princeton, IN passed away Saturday, February 28, 2026 at Deaconess Hospital in Evansville, IN. She was born in Oakland City, IN April 4, 1958 to David Douglas and Nancy Mae (Kelley) Kunkel. Janet was a member of Hillside United Methodist Church in Princeton. She enjoyed knitting and making blankets in earlier years.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Scott Grable; parents; step-father, Charles Kunkle; sister, Darla Kunkle; and son, Jason Aaron Grable.

Janet is survived by her children, Jessica Simpson and Amelia Grable; grandson, Anthony Armstrong; and uncle, Carl Kelley.

The funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM Friday, March 6, 2026 at Colvin Funeral Home in Princeton with Pastor Gene Burkhardt officiating. Burial will take place at a later date in Maple Hill Cemetery in Princeton. Visitation will be held Friday 11:00 AM until the service time at the funeral home.

For those who wish, memorial contributions can be given to the American Stroke Association a division of the American Heart Association, envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
