Janet Heindel Obituary

Janet was born in York, PA on July 19, 1940 and was the daughter of the late Charles and Elda (Lentz) Anstine. She worked at Small World Day Care Center in Spring Grove and enjoyed painting, quilting, and gardening. Janet was also a member of St. Peter's (Lischey's) United Church of Christ in Spring Grove.
Janet is survived by her son Raymond L. Heindel, III and wife Tammy; her grandchildren Raymond Heindel, IV and Jacob Heindel; her great-grandchildren Isabel and Emanuel; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her brother Gene Anstine.
A Funeral Service in celebration of Janet's life will be held on Thursday, February 6, 2025 at 11:00AM at St. Peter's (Lischey's) U.C.C., 5671 Lischey's Church Rd., Spring Grove, PA 17362 with Rev. Mark Ronke and Rev. Cathy Sherry officiating. Following the service, she will be laid to rest at St. Peter's (Lischey's) Church Cemetery in Spring Grove. A viewing will be held on Thursday from 10:00AM – 11:00AM prior to the service at the church.
Funeral services are under the direction of Beck Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Inc., of Spring Grove.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Janet's memory may be made to St. Peter's (Lischey's) U.C.C.

To Ray and his family, I did not know your Mom, but I know the pain you are feeling with her passing. Please know that my heart is with you in your time of grief and I hope that remembering all of the wonderful memories of her will help with the healing process.
