Janet E. Jette

SPENCER: Janet E. (Gauthier) Jette, 91, of Spencer, died Tuesday, Sept. 2nd in Quaboag Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, W. Brookfield. She was the wife of Ronald J.B. Jette who died in 2012. She leaves her son, Ronald John Jette, Jr. and his wife Anne Marie of Spencer, her daughter, Cynthia Obrzut and her husband James of Warren, her grandchildren; Carolyn Jette, Jesse Fusco and Billie Jean Moberg, 6 great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her grandson, Michael Jette. Janet was a long-time bookkeeper at the former Novelty Tool in Spencer and the Spencer Country Inn prior to her retirement. She was born in Worcester, the daughter of Albert and Rachel (Pecor) Gauthier and graduated from David Prouty High School. She was a member of Mary, Queen of the Rosary Parish. A Memorial Mass will be held on Tuesday, Sept. 16th. in Our Lady of the Rosary Church, 7 Church St., Spencer at 10 a.m. Burial will follow in Mary, Queen of the Rosary Cemetery, Spencer. Family & friends are asked to go directly to the church. The J. HENRI MORIN & SON FUNERAL HOME, 23 Maple Terr., Spencer is directing arrangements. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Spencer Rescue Squad, 6 Bixby Rd, Spencer MA.
