I first met Cindy many years ago when she lived across the street from us. Our daughters were the same age and we shared some great memories as they joined campfire girls, started school at the same time and played soft ball. As time passed Cindy began monitoring on a van for special needs adults. Later she worked with meand others at Life Skills, then known as SWCRC and now known as Venture.she had a unique way of bringing out the strengths in the folks we serve. They always felt validated by her.
She was also lifted with a green thumb. She could grow and save dying plants from a seed or half green stem.
When I became a Grandma, she sent me a special note welcoming to the wonderful world of Grandparent hood. I could go on but know I will miss seeing her at MSDH and I will always have blessed memories of her.Rest in Peace my friend!
