Janet Mason Obituary
Janet Ann (Hauser) Mason, a.k.a. Jan or “Blu”, of Lanham, Maryland, passed away on Monday, April 10th, 2023 at the Anne Arundel Medical Center. Jan was born on August 1st, 1952 in Baltimore, Maryland. Her parents were the late Ernest and Mildred Hauser. She loved music, reading, animals, visiting the beach, and talking with her loved ones. Jan was preceded in death by her parents, step-mother Mary Jane, and her beloved partner Joseph Maitland. She is survived by sons Eric (Imelda) Mason, Sean (Sylvia) Mason, grandchildren Joshua, Olivia, Isabella, Sophia, and Axl Mason, and brothers James and Robin Hauser, as well as extended family and friends. Jan will be missed by all those who knew and loved her. A memorial service will be held at Gasch’s Funeral Home, P.A. on Saturday, April 22nd from 2 to 5 pm
