Janet Diane McMullen, called Diane by her friends and family, was born in Danville, Virginia November 5, 1945. She passed away peacefully with her family at her bedside on Sunday, July 6, 2025 in Oceanside, California. Diane married her beloved Husband William Bruce McMullen in 1964. For over 61 years of marriage they traveled the world together and were constant companions.
Diane is survived by her beloved husband William McMullen, beloved son Shawn and daughter-in-law, Truc McMullen, daughter-in-law, Julie McMullen, Grandchildren; Allyson Christau, (Steve Christau), Debbie McMullen, Jeremy McMullen, and Jenny McMullen, Great-grandchildren; Lilly Diane and Ezra Benjamin Christau. She leaves her maternal cousins, Gay and Judy, and Aunt Dean. Diane was preceded in death by her parents, Mr and Mrs Henry Dallas Price of Danville, Virginia, and recently her eldest son, William (Bill) Price McMullen.
Diane was kind, fun-loving and wonderful woman. She will be truly missed by her family and friends.
A burial service will be held on Tuesday, July 22 at 2:15 pm at Miramar National Cemetery. Private internment will be at Miramar National Cemetery.
