Janet Partridge Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Bradley-Braviak Funeral Home - Whippany on Jan. 5, 2026.
Janet Partridge departed this life after a brief illness on January 1, 2026. Born in Paterson, New Jersey to Victor and Bertha Picazio on April 3, 1946, the family moved to Bloomingdale in 1958.
After graduating from Butler High School, Janet worked several years at Bell Laboratories before 35 years of employment at Sandoz, later Novartis Pharmaceuticals, in East Hanover as a project manager.
Janet is survived by her husband of 30 years, Fred Partridge, her stepchildren Amy (Clinton) Engel, Ernest (Leslie) Partridge, Andrew Partridge, step grandchildren Darby Wren, Maggie (Hunter) Hall, Marigold Wren, Aaron Engel, Declan (Destiny) Partridge, Harrill Partridge, Riley Partridge, and newly arrived great grandson, Azrael Partridge. Janet is also survived by her brother, Jerry (Patricia) Picazio and sister-in-law Dorothy Picazio and several nieces and nephews. Janet is predeceased by her parents, her brother, Victor Picazio and step granddaughter Dakota Wren.
Janet's capacity for friendship was limitless. Throughout her life she would meet and form relationships that would never cease. Janet would always seem to be the organizer, the planner, the hostess, and often the instigator. Her personal style and attention to detail and devoted loyalty ensured the love of an ever-increasing circle. Janet traveled extensively, was an enthusiastic golfer, eager boatwoman and constant shopper. And she could cook!
In lieu of flowers, donations to The Seeing Eye can be made to the Seeing Eye Institute of Morristown which would be a meaningful tribute. You may make an online donation at The Seeing Eye.
