Janet L. Roslin

Janet L. Roslin, 95, of Reading, passed away August 9, 2022, in Berkshire Commons. She was the beloved wife of the late Louis A. Roslin Jr. Born in West Lawn, she was the daughter of the late Daniel E., and Edna M. (Seidel) Benson. Janet was a 1944 graduate of Wilson High School and also attended Marywood College. She was a dedicated member of Bethany Evangelical Lutheran Church, Stony Creek Mills, PA. Janet was employed by Berks County Intermediate Unit as a teacher's aide for over 20 years. She enjoyed playing cards, doing puzzles, baking and knitting. But she truly loved spending time with family. Janet was a member of Neighbors Helping Neighbors Community Group, Crime Watch and was a treasurer of the Mount Penn Senior Citizens Group. In her early years she volunteered at Meals on Wheels. She is survived by her two children, Marcia A. Kennedy (Roslin), spouse John T. Kennedy, and son, Barry A. Roslin and spouse Donna M. (Havlen) Roslin, four granddaughters; Megan E. (Kennedy) Shirey, Erin E. (Kennedy) Carson, Devon E. (Kennedy) Zackon, and Emily L. Roslin-Grimes. Janet leaves her sister Barbara A.
