Janet S. (Tringle) Schwendenman, 81, of Medway, died peacefully on Monday, September 29, 2025 at Milford Regional Medical Center. She was the wife of Donald B. Schwendenman who passed away on April 14, 2011. They were married for 36 years.

Born in Franklin on February 9, 1944, she was the daughter of the late John J. and Ruth (Funk) Tringle.

Janet grew up in Medway and attended Medway schools. She lived her past 48 years as a resident of Milford.

She served as the Junior Vice of the Ladies Auxiliary of the American Legion Post 367 in Medway for many years.

Janet was an avid Red Sox fan!

She is survived by her sons, Harvey E. Eno of Northbridge and Brian Shaw of Holliston, four grandchildren Lauren, E. Shaw, Ryan T. Shaw, Payton L. Shaw, all of Milford, and Montana R. Eno of Northbridge, and one great-granddaughter Isabella Rose Lopez.

She is also survived by her sister Nancy J. Eno of Maynard, her dearest and closest friend Colleen I. Sabourin of Florida, and several nieces and nephews.

She was the sister of the late Kenneth R. Burt, Harvey F. Burt and Maureen A. Tutterman.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral service on Friday, October 3 at 10:30 a.m. in the Ginley Crowley Funeral Home, 3 Barber St. in Medway ginleyfuneralhomes.com

Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery.
