Janet L. Sciuto

Janet (Lynch) Sciuto, 75, of Bradford passed away January 5, 2024, surrounded by her family at her home.
She was born in Haverhill on February 29, 1948, daughter of the late Lawrence and Marguerite (Ryan) Lynch (both of Haverhill).
Janet graduated from St. James High School in 1966. She was employed as an inside sales rep by Stanley Tools (formerly Contact East) for 20+ years before retiring in 2009.
Janet is survived by her husband Fred, of Bradford, her daughters Leigh and husband Derek Repucci of Boxford, Tracey Sciuto of Cambridge; her cherished granddaughter Julianne, Sister Jean Rubino of Bradford, late sister Maureen Franklin, Sister-in-law Mary (Sciuto) Riley and husband Jim, late Brother-in-law Joseph Sciuto and wife Francine, nephew Kevin Doyle and his wife Denise as well as several nieces and nephews.
Janet enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her granddaughter who she was extremely proud of. Janet enjoyed her semi-annual trips to Las Vegas and playing high stakes bingo with her husband Fred, and trips to Foxwoods. Janet traveled the world with her daughter Tracey. She loved spending time during the summer at the beach with her family and friends. She was an avid bingo player, and enjoyed her weekly lunches with her friends Sue Windle, Betty Guertin, and Donna Potter.
Janet loved helping and supporting her girls while growing up and was a Girl Scout Leader and coached many sports at Sacred Hearts School including basketball, volleyball, track, and whatever else needed help.
Janet's family wants to thank Beacon Hospice for the comfort, compassion, and support they provided to Janet in her final days.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend her visitation on Friday, January 12, from 10-11 AM in the Sacred Hearts Church, 165 South Main St., Bradford. Her Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will follow the visitation. Arrangements are by the H.L. Farmer & Sons Funeral Homes, Bradford-Haverhill.
