Janet Lee "Hill" Simpson

Janet Lee Simpson, 85, of Cynthiana, KY, passed away on Friday, February 13, 2026, at Cedar Ridge Health Campus. She was born in Harrison Co., KY, on April 8, 1940, to the late Edwin and Beulah Geoghegan Hill. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by brothers, Jimmy Hill, and Harold Ray Hill; and sister, Carolyn Jo Perkins. Janet loved her family dearly and was very faithful to them and her church.

Janet is survived by her husband, Kenneth Simpson; son, Kenneth "Marty" (Laura Todd) Simpson; brothers, Dwight Hill, Charlie Hill; sisters, Diane Ritchie, Vickie Moore, Debbie Hatfield, and Jeannie Jones; a grandchild, Susan Grace Simpson; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, February 18, 2026, at 12:00 p.m. at Ware Funeral Home with visitation prior from 11:00 a.m. until time of service. Burial will be private in Battle Grove Cemetery. Bro. Mike Jones and Pastor Scott will preside over services.
