Janet
E. Slusher, 78 of Copper Hill, passed away on Wednesday, January 29, 2025. She
is preceded in death by her parents, JM "Pete" & Irene Harris; and
brothers, Maurice Harris and Carl Harris.She
is survived by her fiancé, Howard Meredith; son, Jason Slusher (Stacy Bishop);
daughters, Sherry Yopp and Lora Slusher (Brad Mullins); grandchildren, Acacia
Freeman, TalaMaya Freeman, Rhiannon Mullins, Conner Cox (Robert Hylton), Chevy
Cox, Matthew Slusher (Laura Cox) and Josh Slusher; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral
services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 1, 2025 in the Maberry Funeral
Home Chapel with Pastor Eric Reece officiating. Interment will follow in the
Jacksonville Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. until 1
p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.
