Jan was preceded in death by her husband, James A. Stark; her parents, Viril & Genevieve Cunningham; and one brother, Gene Cunningham.
She is survived by four children, Jennifer Sparks (Tim), Julie Pike (Mike), Jean Overholser (Tom), and Jane Roach; eight grandchildren, Gillian, Elise, Michael, Olivia, Emma, Jessie, Kaitlyn, and Tyler; one great-grandchild, Mykul; two sisters, Linda Cheatham and Becky Hildebrand; and a host of nephews, extended family, and friends.
Born in Leonardtown, Maryland, Jan grew up surrounded by the love and support of her family. In the face of adversity, Jan's strength and resilience were inspiring. She faced each challenge with grace and determination, never allowing anything to diminish her spirit or her love for her family and friends. Her unwavering faith carried her through even the darkest times, and her legacy of love, strength, and faith will live on in the hearts of those she touched.
Cremation was chosen by Jan and her family. It is with both sadness and joy that we say goodbye to Jan, knowing that she is now reunited with her beloved husband, James, and her family who have gone before her. May she rest in peace.
