Yesterday

Colleen and Jim were longtime friends of my parents, Bobby (they called him Bob) and Carolyn. My brother and I enjoyed playing with Bryan and Wade when we were children. Mother and Daddy, Colleen and Jim, went on numerous trips together during their retirement years. After my dad passed away, Colleen called Mother regularly to check on her and so they could update each other on their lives and families. After Mother passed away, Colleen continued to call me for the same purpose. Jim called me last year to update me on Colleen, and I got another call from him yesterday. We agreed that we are blessed to have such good, years-long friendships. We´ll miss you, Colleen!
