Janet Voegtlen Obituary
Janet was a dedicated homemaker and farm wife, roles she embraced wholeheartedly. She found joy in the simple pleasures of life, such as ice skating, roller skating, and knitting. Her warm heart and generous spirit touched all who knew her. A woman of faith, Janet attended the New Covenant Church in Mansfield, PA.
Janet leaves behind a loving family to cherish her memory: her children, Timothy (Janis) Voegtlen of Coryland, PA, Kenneth (Sandra) Voegtlen of Gillett, PA, Valerie (Eric) Brannaka of Troy, PA, and Laura (Larry) Finnerty of Gouverneur, NY; along with 15 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her brother-in-law, Robert Voegtlen, as well as several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, William C. Voegtlen; her parents; and her brother, Jim Hendry.
Janet's legacy of love and kindness will live on in the hearts of her family and friends. Services to honor and celebrate her life will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, March 22, 2025 at Church of the New Covenant, 310 Extension St. Mansfield, PA. The Gerald W. Vickery, Jr. Funeral & Cremation Services, Inc. Troy, PA has been entrusted with the arrangements.
