Janet Walston, age 75, passed away April 8, 2024. She was born June 6, 1948 to George and Mildred (Moore) Huntsman. She enjoyed playing pool, and teaching others how to play the game. She enjoyed her time spent with family often fishing in Minnesota. Known for her trademark drink of choice, always seen with a diet coke in hand. An avid lighthouse collector and adventurer, Janet had a passion for exploring the United States, trying to visit all 50 states, with a particular interest in visiting and admiring lighthouses along the way. Her love for adventure and discovering new places led her on countless memorable journeys. Janet cherished her annual tradition of attending the Iowa State Fair and the Sidney, IA Rodeo.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Renee Walston; grandson, Nick Shriver.

Janet is survived by her wife, Kathy Molle; son, Tom (Shelley) Walston; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; and a host of other family and friends.

Memorial service will be on Friday, April 12, 2024 at 4:00 p.m at Hoy Kilnoski Funeral Home. Visitation will be held an hour prior to the service. The family will direct memorials.
