Janet S. Williams, a beloved mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away on November 25, 2023, in Avon. She was born on July 3, 1947, in Indianapolis to Joseph and Irene Simko.
Janet had a fulfilling career as a Registered Nurse for many years. Her passion for helping others guided her throughout her life. She provided care and comfort to countless patients, leaving a lasting impact on their lives. Janet's dedication to her profession earned her the respect and admiration of her colleagues and patients alike.
Janet attended nursing school at St. Vincent, where she developed the skills and knowledge that would shape her extraordinary career path. Her commitment to learning allowed her to excel in providing compassionate care to others.
Beyond her professional achievements, Janet was an exceptional person who cherished her family and friends dearly. Her warm heart and kind nature were evident in every interaction she had. She treasured spending time with her loved ones and made it a priority to nurture those connections.
Janet's close-knit group of friends held a unique place in her heart. Their bond was unbreakable and filled with love, laughter, and shared memories. Through thick and thin, they provided support and companionship that made life even more meaningful.
In addition to her nursing career and friendships, Janet found joy in simple pleasures. She had a talent for playing the piano, often enchanting those around her with beautiful melodies. Janet also indulged in the occasional shopping spree on QVC, finding delight in discovering unique treasures from the comfort of home.
During the holiday season, Janet's creative spirit shone brightly as she crafted homemade Christmas cards for her family and friends. Each card was carefully personalized to bring warmth and joy to those she held dear.
Janet is survived by her devoted daughter, Amanda Khiri; beloved son, Larry Williams; cherished stepdaughters, Tamara Williams and Kristi Williams; and treasured grandchildren, Bryan Williams, Brenden Williams, Aneya Williams, and Faith Williams.
