Janet M. Zeisset, age 87, of Shiloh, and formerly of Trenton, passed away Wednesday, November 19, 2025, at Belleville Memorial Hospital. She was born October 30, 1938, in Highland, a daughter of the late Louis G. and Eugenia L. (nee Zahn) Zeisset.

Janet is survived by her brothers, Bill (Ann) Zeisset of Shiloh, Tim (Judy) Zeisset of Trenton, and Terry (Judy) Zeisset of Highland, and numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.

Janet was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Nancy (Roy) Davenport.

Dedicated and hardworking, Janet retired from Scott Air Force Base after a lifelong career in civil service as an administrative assistant. She was a woman of faith, a member of St. Teresa Catholic Church in Belleville, and a former member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Trenton. Janet lived with a caring spirit and a joyful heart, cheering on her beloved St. Louis Cardinals and finding her greatest fulfillment in the love she shared with her nieces and nephews.

Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be Friday, December 19, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. at St. Mary Catholic Church in Trenton with Fr. George Zieba presiding and Deacon Tom Ritzheimer assisting. Interment will follow at St. Mary Cemetery in Trenton.

In lieu of flowers, plants, and other gifts, memorials may be made to BJC Hospice and will be received at the Mass or by mail at Moss Funeral Home, 105 S. Main St. Trenton, IL 62293, who is serving the family.
