Janet A. Zerbarini

Naugatuck, CT Janet A. (Morin) Zerbarini, 78, widow of Robert H. "Zeb" Zerbarini, Sr., died peacefully June 21, 2023 in the VITAS Hospice Care Unit at St. Mary's Hospital.
Janet was born May 15, 1945 in Burlington, VT daughter of the late George and Andree (Laverdure) Morin. Janet lived in Naugatuck most of her life and worked for many years as a nurse's aide.
Janet is survived by her children, Brenda VanDelft, Steven Greaves, Robert Greaves, Anthony Zerbarini (Dawn), Alfred Zerbarini and Carin Zerbarini; her brother, Jean Morin (Carol); her sister in law, Louise Zerbarini; her many grandchildren and great grandchildren, who affectionately called her "Gramma"; several nieces and nephews and her faithful K-9 companion, Wizard, whom she called her "Baby Boy." In addition to her husband and parents, Janet was predeceased by her brother, Ronald Morin, and son, Robert H. Zerbarini, Jr.
Family and friends will gather on Saturday, July 1, 2023 from 9:00am to 10:30am, with a service beginning at 10:30am at the Buckmiller Thurston Mengacci Funeral Home, 82 Fairview Avenue, Naugatuck. Burial will follow in St. James Cemetery, Cross Street, Naugatuck. In lieu of flowers and to honor Janet's memory, donations can be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
