Janette M. (Roatch) Hendrickson, 87, of Superior, WI died on November 4, 2025.

Janette (Jan) was born on September 11, 1938, to Irving and Maysel (Farmer) Roatch in the Town of Superior, WI.

She moved into the City of Superior as a young child and remained a resident of Superior, graduating from Central High School. Shortly thereafter, Jan married Russell Hendrickson and they began a journey of love and adventure that included many family road trips and camping excursions.

Jan will be remembered for her many passions in life, the most important of which were her family, friends, and church. By an early age she was an accomplished figure skater and vocalist. She enjoyed singing with Our Savior's Lutheran Church's choir and other local singing ensembles.

Later in life, her grandchildren and great-grandchildren were the beneficiaries of the quintessential doting grandma. Blessed with an engaging smile and never-ending positive outlook, everyone was welcome. One couldn't help but feel better about themselves and the world in general after visiting with Jan.

Jan was preceded in death by her parents, brothers Irving Jr and Robert, and her beloved husband, Russell.

Survivors include her son, Russell Hendrickson; daughters, Kathleen Hendrickson, Susan (Donald) Wallgren, and Lynette (Andrew) Rubel; her grandchildren, Amanda (Joe) Kemp, Amber Palmer, Alexandra (Adrian) Hankewycz, Josephine (Jake Petersen) Wallgren, Nick Rubel, Bekah Rubel, and Kylie Rubel; and her great-grandchildren, Bradley, Brandon, Emily, Braydon, Sophia, and Boden. Jan is also survived by her brother, Patrick (Kyungcha) Roatch, three nieces, and six grandnieces and grandnephews.

The family is particularly grateful to the staff at Dove Healthcare who lovingly cared for Jan in the final months of her life.

Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until the 11:00 a.m. funeral service at Our Savior's Lutheran Church, 1924 Wyoming Ave., Superior, WI on Saturday, November 8, 2025. Interment at Graceland Cemetery will take place following the service, with a luncheon at Our Savior's Lutheran Church to follow the interment.
