Janette “Jan” McLellan

July 29, 1954 – October 14, 2025

Janette McLellan, known to all as “Jan” of Kennedale, Texas, passed away peacefully on October 14, 2025. She was born on July 29, 1945, and grew up in Ft. Worth, where she attended Polytechnic High School. Jan spent many years working in the oil and gas industry as a production assistant, where her sharp mind and quick wit earned the respect of everyone who worked alongside her. During this time, she also made many lifelong friends who remained dear to her throughout her life.

In 1965, Jan married the love of her life, Robert (Bob) McLellan. Together they shared 60 wonderful years of marriage – a life filled with laughter, adventure, and deep devotion to one another. Jan was truly the life of the party: spirited, caring, and always ready with a smile or a laugh.

Above all, she fiercely loved her family and friends, and her warmth will be forever remembered by all who knew her.

Jan is survived by her beloved husband, Bob; her son, Chris McLellan and his wife Mary; her daughter, Michele Markulec, and her husband, Mark; and her grandchildren, Stephanie Dunn and her husband, Keelan, Ian McLellan, and Jackson McLellan.

Jan’s legacy of love, strength and joy will continue to live on through her family and all those blessed to have known her.

A Celebration of Jan’s life will be held on October 30th from 12:00-2:00 p.m. at Joe T. Garcia's.

All who knew and loved her are welcome to attend.
