Janette Whitehead passed away peacefully on Monday, March 16, 2026, at the age of 90 years old. She was preceded in death by her husband of 68 years, Rev. Beecher Whitehead and parents, Joel and Mary Payne.
Janette is survived by her daughters, Belinda Wilcox and Pam (Frank) Daniel; grandchildren, Sacha (Bobby) Bonilla, Erica (Steven) Rogers, Kayla (Russ) Warren, Tessa (Ken) Betz, Katie (Jake) Hutsell, and Beecher Daniel; great-grandchildren, Lyla Tharp, Connor Purciful, Maverick Rogers, Parker Rogers, Jordan Rogers, and Tucker Warren.
Memorial contributions may be made to Happy Valley Missionary Baptist Church, C/O Belinda Wilcox, 6441 Happy Valley Rd. Tallassee, TN 37878.
Funeral service will be held at 7:00 PM Friday, March 20, 2026, at Miller Funeral Home, Magnolia Chapel. Interment service will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday at Happy Valley Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM Friday at Miller Funeral Home, Maryville.
