Janice LaVerne Acres (Moyle) passed away Sunday, September 28th, 2025 at the age of 69. She was born December 6th, 1955 in Charlotte, NC, daughter of late Clifton and Edith Moyle. She is survived by her brother Chester, sisters Denise and Teresa, daughters Christine Conlay (Timothy), Hallie Schadle (Jerrad) as well as her grandchildren Rylee, Aevin, Elizabeth and Aimsley. She is preceded in death by her nephews Kenneth (Shawn), Stephen, Andrew, and her nieces Barbara, and Jessica.
Janice was a licensed social worker and spent her career employed at nursing homes. She loved her job and took great pride in helping patients and families alike. Janice will be remembered for her sense of humor, storytelling, strong sense of independence, and her unwavering love for her family, including her grand dog Peanut and service companion Sassy.
A celebration of life will be announced privately. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Diabetes Association.
