She was the widow of John Bill Livie Babson, who preceded her in 2009 and the daughter of the late David Baxter Davis and Ophelia Ottie Belle Storms Davis. In addition, she was also preceded in death by her daughter, Donna Beth Causey Babson Wellmon.
Funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, July 23, 2025 at Grace Baptist Church in Bladenboro, with burial to follow in the Owens Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 10:00-10:45 a.m. prior to the service on Wednesday at the church.
To cherish her memory, Janice leaves behind her daughter, Tina Babson Nielsen (Matin) of Rockingham; grandchildren, Danny Thomas "Dusty" Owens, Cooper Lee Davis, Caressa Kinlaw Jacobs (Cameron); great-grandchildren, Lexi Nicole Davis, Cooper Lee Davis, Jr., Cali Jade Davis, Ashton Dean Davis, River Thomas Jacobs; great-great-grandchild, Brinkley Wynter Williams.
