Janice D Beemon

Janice D Beemon, age 79 of Union, Kentucky passed away on Saturday, April 22, 2023. She retired from the Boone County school system after over 30 years as a cafeteria manager at Boone County and Ryle High School. She was a member of Hopeful Lutheran Church where she sang in the choir. She enjoyed riding motorcycles with her husband Frank, sewing, crocheting, and she was an amazing cake decorator. She is preceded in death by her Husband Frank, her Mother Ruth Drifmeyer, her Grandmother Lou Boone and 2 Grandchildren Christina and Joshua. She is survived by her Daughters Debbie (Dave), Lisa (Glenda), and Rhonda (Jim), 2 Grandsons Matthew (Lanna) and Shelby, 3 Great Grandchildren Tessa, Elsie, and Isaac, Sister-in-Law Ruth Dringenburg, 1 Niece Joan (Dale), 1 Nephew Steve (Kim), and 3 Great Nephews and 1 Great Niece. Visitation will be from 11 AM – 1 PM on Monday, May 1, 2023 at Stith Funeral Home, 7500 US 42, Florence, KY 41042. A Graveside Service will follow at Hopeful Lutheran Cemetery, 6430 Hopeful Church Road, Florence, Ky 41042 with burial to follow. Memorial contributions may be made to Hopeful Lutheran Cemetery.
