Janice Mary Bennett

Janice Mary Bennett went to her heavenly home on Thursday, January 9, 2025, at the age of 75. Jan was born and raised in Cumming, GA. She is preceded in death by her mother Ruth Martin, father Veston Martin, husband Ford Bennett, and their daughter Mary Ruth Bennett, who died shortly after birth.

She is survived by her brothers and sisters in law Wendell Bennett, Danny & Vickie Bennett, Winfred Skinner, Vicki Venator and Adella Seabolt. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and close friends.

“Little Jan” was employed at the Cumming Dairy Queen for 46 years. The DQ was where she made some lasting, lifelong friendships to those she also called her family. She was one of the most kindhearted people you could ever meet. She would always ask you how you were doing and always say she was fine and didn’t need anything. She always had a smile on her face and so much love in her heart to share.

A funeral service will be help on Wednesday, January 15th at 2:00 at the Ingram Funeral Home Chapel. Officiating the service will be Rev. Danny Bennett, Rev. Todd Skinner and Rev. Larry Vaughan. The interment will follow at the Coal Mountain Baptist Church Cemetery. 

The family will receive friends at Ingram Funeral Home on Wednesday, January 15th, from 10:00 until the hour of service.
