Died: January 4, 2025 in Barrington, IL
Janice Beucher Griffith, 73, passed away surrounded by her loved ones after a long battle with breast cancer. Jan was a beloved mom to Jason (Tiffany), Stephanie (Tom) Marinis, Justin (Catie), and Sandra. Jan was a cherished MomMom (Grandma) to Annabelle, Liz, Tyson, Chloe, Bill, Grace, Stephen, Jimmy, Mary Janice, Nicky, Mikey, JJ, Ellie, and Chase. Jan was the eldest sibling to Greg, Terri (Hugh) Hollister, Edward Jr (the late Maureen), Beverly, George (Juli), and Trish. She was a loving and devoted aunt, cousin and friend to so many. Jan was preceded in death by her husband, Stephen, and parents, Edward Sr and Patricia Beucher. Jan's life will be celebrated with a visitation at Davenport Funeral Home in Crystal Lake on Monday, January 13th, from 4-8 pm. Her funeral will be held at our Lady of Perpetual Help Church in Glenview on Tuesday, January 14, with a visitation at 9:15am and funeral at 10:00am. She will be laid to rest at All Saints Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Jan's name to: Our Lady of Perpetual Help (and note Sister Paulanne's Needy Family Fund in memo line) 1775 Grove St. Glenview IL 60025.

My heart is broken to hear of Jan's passing. Deepest heartfelt sympathy - A wonderful person and member of the family. Unselfish lovely woman, that touched so many people in a positive way. Aunt Pat had a lot to do w/ her influence of compassion. She demonstrated what a Catholic should be, a mom, a grandmother, a cousin, a friend, and a teacher to all! xoxo GiGi
