Janice C. Braden- Born, September 12, 1933 at the age of 91, passed away on Tuesday, October 1, 2024 at Wrights Healthcare and Rehab.
She was preceded in death by her husband Charles Braden; her parents, Cavie and Julia Janes; sister, Betty Smith; and brothers, Bobby Janes and Donnie Janes.
Surviving are her 6 children, Ronald Braden, Michael (Sonja) Braden, Holly (Billy) Eiserman, Eric (Sue) Braden, Gail Messmer, and Amy (Jarron) Dixon. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren, Ashley Naya, Travis Braden, Jason Bosse, Grace Braden, Maria Naylor, Benjamin Braden, Samuel Braden, Laurea Braden, Caroline Phifer, Zachary Dixon, and Mackenzie Dixon; and 20 great-grandchildren.
Janice was born in Bardstown, Kentucky and spent most of her married life in Florence, Kentucky where she was a homemaker. She enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren.
A Gathering of Family and Friends will be from 9am to 10am on Monday, October 7, 2024 at Reese Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life will follow at 10am at the funeral home.
Janice will be laid to rest with the love of her life, Charles at Bay Pines National Cemetery at a later date.
