Janice Marie Linsley Byers

Janice Marie Linsley Byers passed away peacefully on October 7, 2024. She was born in Galveston, Texas on June 7, 1949. She was predeceased by her husband, Robert Malcom Byers; parents, Margaret Jane Josephine and Elmer Partridge Linsley; and brother-in-law, Keith Stankevitz.

To mourn her passing, she leaves her siblings, E. Patrick Linsley (Wanda) and Deena Gayle Stankevitz; her nieces and nephews to whom she was deeply devoted, Tina Etheridge (Gene) and Tonya Bewley (Wayne), and all the greats and great-greats, Natalie (Jon), Holly, Ryan (C.J.), Austin (Mary), Kade, Kasen, Kamren, Miles, Harper, and Wyatt.

Janice worked as an administrative assistant for Cullum and Keen. She was a devoted Christian, an avid cross stitcher and she loved to read.

A visitation will be 2:00-4:00pm Sunday, October 13, 2024, at Smith Little Rock Funeral Home, 8801 Knoedl Court (NW corner I-630 and Barrow Rd.). A service to honor Janice’s life will be held at 1:00pm Monday, October 14, 2024, at Forest Hills Memorial Park, 10201 Highway 5 N, Alexander.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to any Christian charity that touches your heart.
