Janice Elaine Decker, 92, of Phoenix, passed away peacefully after a long illness on January 9th, 2026, in a nursing home. Janice was born in Poughkeepsie, NY on February 23, 1933. She is the daughter of the late Otto and Marguerite Disbrow.
She married Richard Decker in 1952 and moved to Phoenix in 1957.
Janice was the owner of Markham and Decker, Inc., established in 1963 by her late husband, Richard, and the late George Markham.
She is survived by six children, Deborah, Lauren, Jennifer, David and Lisa (Ed), and Erica. She leaves ten grandchildren, Kristin. Edward, Lindsey, Sabrina, Christian, Michael, Teddy, Noah, Natalie, and Forrest. She leaves four great grandchildren.
Funeral service will be held on Friday, January 30, 2026, at 1:00p.m. at Whitney & Murphy Funeral Home, 4800 East Indian School Road, Phoenix, Arizona 85018.
