Janice Faye Dimsdale, 73, of Greenville, South Carolina, passed away on Wednesday, January 28, 2026 at her residence.
Born in La France, South Carolina on November 28, 1952, she was the daughter of the late James Whitfield and Helen (Williams) Whitfield. She was the wife of the late Charles Richard Dimsdale.
Mrs. Dimsdale worked as a cosmetologist for more that 40 years.
She is survived by a daughter, Andrea Brooke Long: a son, Richard Dimsdale; two brothers, Jimmy Whitfield and Jeff Whitfield; five sisters, Linda Bates, Edith Cook, Betty Woods, Christine Grant and Brenda McKee; four grandchildren, Jacob Willoughby, Breanna Long, Madeline Dimsdale and Noah Dimsdale along with many nieces and nephews.
The family will recieve friends from 1:00-1:45 PM on Tuesday, February 3, 2026 at Seawright Funeral Home. Funeral Services will follow at 2:00 PM at Seawright Funeral Home.
Burial will be private in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
The family is at the home.
