Jc Dimsdale Obituary
Duncan, SC
J.C. "Jake" Dimsdale, 92, passed away on Monday, May 12, 2025. Born in Arcadia, he was the son of the late Julius Hiram and Mary Mae "Mamie" Bennett Dimsdale and the husband of the late Shirley Gleanese Parris Dimsdale and Loretta Johnson Dimsdale. Jake was the owner and operator of AAA Security in California and was a veteran of the US Navy. He was a member of Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church.
Survivors include his daughter, Tonda Henerey and husband, Keith; grandchildren, Jacob Henerey (Mackenzie) and Angie Chandler (Kent); three great-grandchildren, Aleyah Roberts (Nick), Lucas Chandler and Ava Jett (Joseph); and a great-great grandchild, Anderson Chandler.
He was predeceased by a son, Charles "Chuck" Dimsdale; a granddaughter, Alicia Dimsdale; a grandson, Michael Bright; three brothers, Buck Dimsdale, Calvin Dimsdale and Orb Dimsdale; and three sisters, Annette Brooks, Lucilla Greene and Ina Belue.
Funeral services will be held at 2PM on Thursday, May 15, 2025 at Stribling Funeral Home Chapel.
The family will receive friends from 1PM until 2PM prior to the service.
Interment will be held at Bethany Wesleyan Church Cemetery.
