Janice Focht Obituary
Janice lived a full and meaningful life. She was born and raised in Philadelphia, she carried the spirit of the city with her throughout her life before eventually settling in Bucks County, where she made her home for many years. She found joy in life's simple pleasures-reading, long walks, time spent swimming, watching Phillies games, and being outdoors brought her peace and happiness. She enjoyed traveling extensively and a few of her favorites were England, Scotland, and Ireland. Following her high school graduation from Little Flower High School, she worked in a variety of roles before establishing a long and dedicated career with Rohm and Haas Chemical Manufacturing Company where she eventually retired from.
Above all else, she cherished her family and friends. She was a devoted and loving sister, aunt and friend whose presence was a constant source of warmth, laughter, and wisdom. She treasured the time she spent with her siblings, nieces and nephews, as well as her great-nieces and great-nephews, creating memories that will be held close for generations.
She will be remembered for her gentle nature, her steady strength, and the love she gave so freely. Her legacy lives on in the lives she touched and the family who will carry her memory forward. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
Janice is survived by her brother Jack (Carole)Focht, Bob Focht, and sister Joanne Sablich. Eight nieces and nephews and many beloved great-nieces and great nephews. She is predeceased by her brother in law Bill Sablich and her sister in law Barbara Focht.
Friends and family are invited to attend Janice's Life Celebration on Friday, March 27, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, followed by a Funeral Mass at 11:00 AM, at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church, 5194 Cold Spring Creamery Road, Doylestown, PA 18902. Interment will follow in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made in Janice's name to Paralyzed Veterans of America or Shriners Children's Hospital.
