Janice Dean Foster, 95, of Carol Stream, passed away on August 26, 2025. She was born in Chicago on October 1, 1929, to Harry A. Dean and Florence D. Dean. She was the beloved wife of George R. Foster, to whom she was married for 53 years until he passed away in 2008. A loving mother and grandmother, she is survived by her children, Daniel G. Foster, Scott D. Foster, and Susan (Gordon) Hill, and her granddaughter Alyssa Hill.

She lived all of her life in the Chicago area, primarily in Elmhurst and Glen Ellyn prior to moving to Carol Stream in 2016. Early in her adult life she became accomplished in the field of commercial art. She and her late husband George had the good fortune of an abundance of longtime friendships. In her later years, she was a resident at the Windsor Park retirement community, where she was beloved by the residents and staff.

Visitation Tuesday September 2, 2025, from 4 to 7 p.m. with a Service at 7 p.m. at Williams-Kampp Funeral Home 430 E. Roosevelt Rd., Wheaton, IL 60187. Interment is to take place on Wednesday September 3, 2025, at 12 p.m./Noon at Fairview Park Cemetery DeKalb, IL. Information @ www.williams-kampp.com or (630) 668-0016.
