Janice M. Grimes, age 80, a longtime Romeo resident, passed away on December 6, 2024. Janice
was born on June 5, 1944, the daughter of Edwin and Marie (Trozak) Mansuy. She was a
wonderful mother, sister, and friend to many. Her love and laughter will always be
remembered. She had many creative hobbies such as painting, sculpting, and traveling with her
friends the “Boca Babes”.
Janice is survived by her children; Julie (Robert) Schoenherr of Washington Township, and Brian
Grimes of Trondheim, Norway, sisters, Marlene (Jim) Graessle of Farmington Hills and Karen
(Brian) Richards of Pinckney, Michigan. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Annika,
Julian, Addison, Elaina, many nieces and nephews and companion Mike Alfonsi.
Funeral services will take place on Monday, December 16, 2024 at NOON at St. Clement
Catholic Church of Romeo. Visitation will take place on Sunday, December 15, 2024 from 3:00 PM to
8:00 PM at the Henry M. Malburg Funeral Home.
