Richard Todd Hill

Richard Todd Hill of Shelby Township passed away March 4, 2026 at the age of 61.

Rick was born on June 17, 1964 in Ferndale, Michigan to William and Kathleen (Foley) Hill. He was a graduate of Hazel Park High School. On April 26, 1986 Rick married Katrina Schwark; together they were married 39 years and had three children. Rick earned his Associates Degree and was an Engineer for over 35 years. He loved hunting, fishing, and going on vacations to tropical destinations. He was also proud of the woodshop he had built. Rick was a loving husband, father, and brother who will be deeply missed.

Devoted husband of Katrina; loving father of Justin (Karista), Renee', and April; cherished brother of Debra (Mark) Land and Shaun (Shirley) Hill; and adored uncle of Lauren, Jonathan, Jack, Erin and Mary. Rick is also predeceased by his parents and his beloved dogs Marley and Copper.

A celebration of life is planned for April 25, 2026, at the Washington Lions Club located at 58000 Van Dyke Ave, Washington, MI 48094 from 11-2p. This date was picked to closely align with Rick and Katrina's 40th wedding anniversary and is the same venue as their wedding reception. We invite you to celebrate him and his family where their journey began.
