Moultrie, Georgia – Janice Arlene Grimm, 79, of Moultrie, Georgia, passed away on Tuesday, September 30, 2025, at her residence surrounded by her family.
Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM, Saturday, October 4, 2025, at Cobb Funeral Chapel, with the Reverend Corey Shiver officiating. Interment will follow at Pleasant Hill Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 2:00 until 2:45 PM, Saturday at Cobb Funeral Chapel.
Casketbearers will be Josh Saunders, Zayne Bennett, Doug Grimm, Ben Thomas, Dutch Van Dyke and Joe Sumner.
Honorary casketbearers are Frank Dixon, Bruce Maxfield Chris Hoechst and Will Van Dyke.
Born November 18, 1945, in Thomasville, Georgia, she was a daughter of the late Ben Thomas and Annie Mae Jordan Thomas.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by brothers, Ben Crawford Thomas and Roger Thomas; and sisters, Betty Thomas Elgin, Shirley Thomas Boyd, Ruthie Joyce Thomas Carpenter, and Carol Rohan.
While an active member at Lakeside Assembly of God, she served as a part-time church secretary. She later became very active at Christian Life Center, serving in any way she could. She was known for being a true servant of the Lord. She also worked for her brother at his business, Harrell’s Auto Electric. She enjoyed fishing, oil painting and will always be remembered as dressing to the nines.
Survivors include her husband, Wilbur Mack Grimm, II; sons, Wilbur Mack “Beau” Grimm, III and wife, Tammie and Jedidiah Grimm; grandchildren, Cheyenne Grimm, Adyson Grimm, Erika Grimm Saunders and husband, Josh and Harley Grimm Bennett and husband, Zayne; great-grandchildren, Isaiah Saunders, Isabella Saunders and Beckham Beau Bennett. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and other extended family.
Cobb Funeral Chapel has been entrusted with arrangements.
