Janice Haile Hall, 76, of Fort Mill, SC and formerly of Gastonia, NC, peacefully went to be with her Lord and Savior on Sunday, October 8, She was born on April 4, 1947 in Lancaster, SC, daughter of the late Roy & Ada Haile.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Janett Crenshaw and Jacqueline Crenshaw.
Janice was diagnosed with Parkinson's in 2016 and Progressive Supranuclear Palsy (PSP) in 2020, and never stopped fighting the effects of these debilitating diseases.
Most important to her was her family and she will forever be remembered as a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt & friend.
She leaves a lasting legacy to be cherished by her survivors, her husband of 54 years, James Hall; daughter, Julie Griffin and husband, Chris of Fort Mill, SC; son Jamie Hall and wife, Kirsty of Charlotte, NC.; grandchildren, Noah and Luke Griffin; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
Janice was a realtor for Carolina Realty in Gastonia, NC for over 15 years. She was very dedicated to her work & her clients. She was also a member of Covenant Baptist Church in Gastonia, NC.
The family would like to extend their sincere appreciation to all the hospice nurses, physicians and staff, her beloved friends for their unwavering compassion and support they provided. Your kindness will never be forgotten.
A celebration of life service will be held by the family. It will be Saturday October 14th from 4-6pm beginning with the service followed by visitation. It will be held at Palmetto Funeral Home at 2049 Carolina Place Drive. Fort Mill, SC 29708.
In lieu of flowers, Memorial donations can be made to the PSP foundation for research at psp.org or to the Wayne T. Patrick Hospice House at hospicecommunitycare.org
