Janice was a special kind of spirit and never met a stranger. She lit up a room and there was never a dull moment when she was around. She was a licensed beautician and loved doing so for many years and still gave haircuts on her front porch for anyone who came down to visit. She had many jobs throughout her years and wore many hats, waitress, housekeeper, insurance salesperson, store clerk and manager, semi-truck driver to name just a few. One of her favorite accomplishments in life was playing Minnie Pearl in the play Hee Haw that she performed with the McCreary performing arts. She fit into that role perfectly. But her biggest job she held was one of being a caregiver. Anyone who ever needed her assistance, care, conversation or prayers they just needed to call, and she was there. Janice had an open-door policy at her home. She never turned a person away who needed a place to sleep, a meal to eat, shower to take or clothes to be washed.
Janice was a Christian and prayer warrior. She was a member of Beulah Heights Bible Missionary Church. She loved Bro. Ivy Cambell and his wife, Shana, and Jack and Mayrene Howard and all her church family She especially cared about all the children of the church and loved seeing them praise the Lord.
Janice is one of those people who left an impression with everyone she met and knew. She was loved and will be remembered by many family members, friends and loved ones.
Janice is in a much better place now with Jesus and we all look forward to seeing her again. Janice this isn't goodbye, it is "we will see you later".
